For parents and teachers
Hola Play is a free website of Spanish learning games for English-speaking children ages 6 to 10. Short rounds, spoken audio, and picture cues make new vocabulary feel like play, not a worksheet.
What kids practice
- Spanish vocabulary: animals, food, home, family, clothes, body, and school
- Colors, numbers 1–10, and days of the week with listening games
- The Spanish alphabet, including ñ
- Everyday phrases such as hola, gracias, and ¿cómo estás?
- Letter tiles for simple Spanish spelling
- Bilingual stories and sing-along songs kids can tap to hear
How to use it
Ten minutes is enough. Sit together the first time, tap “Hear Hola,” then let your child pick a game. Repeat the Spanish out loud after the voice. Stars and heard-words stay on this device — there is no account to create.
Turn sound on for listening games. If a voice is missing on an older tablet, the words are still printed on every card. Spanish is shown with accents (pájaro, mamá, ¿cómo estás?) so children hear and see the real words.
Privacy, ads, and sharing
Progress is saved in the browser on this device. Hola Play does not ask children for a name, email, or password. The site may show advertisements through Google AdSense to keep the games free. Read the privacy page for details. Please share Hola Play with other families using the icons at the bottom of each page.
